In the diverse and species-rich world of MC, besides grasslands and mountains, there are also beautiful and mysterious lakes and seas waiting for adventurers to explore.
Since talking about vast waters immediately brings to mind the adorable creatures living in them, today let’s explore the secrets of underwater animals—fish~
In this “eat to heal” game of MC, adventurers have probably already tasted all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and meats, and of course, a rich variety of aquatic products~ Next, let’s introduce the edible fish in MC one by one~
First is the Salmon. Salmon are schooling creatures and like to travel in groups~ They typically appear in groups of 3-5. Whether in warm or cold water, as long as it’s in rivers or oceans, you can find them.

The second type is Cod. Cod are brownish-yellow fish and, like salmon, also enjoy traveling in groups. A school of cod can even have up to 9 fish! But adventurers must go to the ocean to see them; you won’t find them in ordinary rivers~

Next, let’s look at a very beautiful fish in the underwater world~ They are the Tropical Fish! They come in various shapes and have different colors and patterns.
It is known that there are as many as 22 common tropical fish patterns in the Bedrock Edition! Adventurers interested in tropical fish can go explore more in the game themselves~

Finally, there’s the dangerous yet practical Pufferfish~ Unlike other fish, pufferfish don’t like to travel in groups. Besides being unique, they are also quite temperamental fish. When not angry, don’t they look small and very cute?

However, if adventurers approach them or attack them, pufferfish will get very angry, instantly inflating and puffing up to fight back, inflicting a poison effect on surrounding creatures.

Although pufferfish have a bad temper, they are edible (it’s just highly toxic food though). After eating pufferfish, you will receive Hunger, Poison, and Nausea effects (eating it actually makes you hungrier).
They can’t be eaten for food, but pufferfish have another very important use, which is brewing potions! When you have a pufferfish + an Awkward Potion and put them in a Brewing Stand, you can get a Potion of Water Breathing~ The Potion of Water Breathing allows adventurers to breathe better underwater.

What if you want to eat fish? The most traditional method is, of course, to catch them! Pick up a bucket, aim at the fish underwater, scoop them into the bucket, and you’ll get the corresponding fish bucket.

All fish share the same weakness—they can’t survive without water. When they leave the water, they will flop around and eventually turn into raw fish items.

Raw fish, of course, should be cooked~ High-end ingredients often require the simplest cooking methods. A furnace + coal + patience will yield delicious cooked fish, convenient to make and very tasty.

Want to have a grilled fish feast, but find catching fish in rivers inefficient and manual fishing too troublesome? No problem! Let me tell you right away how to have a convenient and fast automatic fishing machine!
First, use cobblestone blocks to build a 12x7x6 frame and fill in the sides~

Take out a bucket filled with water and fill the entire fishing pool from the bottom up (you must pour water from the bottom up!)

Go to a nearby river, pick up an empty bucket, catch a fish, and put it into our fishing pool. Use a name tag to give it a name.

At the top middle layer of the fishing pool, open a hole to place a chest and put up a sign.

Place cobblestone blocks and a chest next to the box as shown in the image to connect to a hopper.

Place a hopper minecart above the hopper following the method below.

Place a sign to the left of the hopper minecart (the sign here can block lava~). After placing it, add another layer of cobblestone on top, then pour in lava.

Use cobblestone stairs to build a convenient walking staircase.

Finally, don’t forget to pour a bucket of water at the chest on the edge of the fishing pool (otherwise you won’t catch any fish!)

And now the automatic fishing machine is complete~ Pick up your fishing rod, aim at the water surface above the sign, use the fishing rod, and patiently wait for the fish to bite.
Because it automatically reels in, the chance of catching fish is 100%~

That concludes the introduction about fish! Seeing the chest full of fish immediately brings to mind the picturesque land of fish and rice—West Lake, Xixi Wetland.
The crossover gameplay trailer is coming soon
The day for the long-awaited crossover gameplay that adventurers have been looking forward to is getting closer and closer~ I managed to take a few photos of the beautiful scenery in advance for all adventurers. Let’s take a look~

Besides many famous scenic spots that will feast the eyes of adventurers, you can also participate in fishing activities with the local fishermen and experience the joy of harvest~ (Sounds much more fun than fishing alone!)
